When can i change my ear piercings?
So i had my ear pierced 4 weeks and 5 days ago and it got hit and bled once. But it was 2 weeks ago. It healed and it didnt hurt. So i thought id switch my earrings into dangle ones. (their studs styled)
I kept them in for a while and it wasnt that bad. It didnt hurt or anything but i changed it back into my studs so i could sleep and people told me to keep in my beginner ones for 6 weeks and to change back.
When i changed back my right one (the one that got hit) started to bleed again.
-When can i change my earrings back into dangle ones? After the rest of my 6 weeks are done?
-Will i have to wait longer because my ear bled again?
Your ears should be healed in about 4-6 weeks. Be sure to clean your ears at least twice a day and turn your stud around so that when you ear heals, it won't grow over the earring.
Cleaning is very important! I didn't really pay attention to my ear piercing and I removed my ear piercing..really early. Like..after five days of getting them pierced. Infections aren't fun at all. =3 So just keep it in your eye, a couple of more days is fine waiting.
