YES I KNOW! 44 Cards isn't too bad and still, I couldn't fit all the stuff I wanted into 40.
Look, this is an awesome start to a deck, even though i never found spellcasters particularly useful. Only one thing though, TRAPS, i mean sure your have a few quick spells but you surely could use more devastating traps. my greatest pleasure in yugioh is seeing the opponents face when i use magic cylinders or draining shield after they attack with their strongest monster. here is a few traps i use that you could add to make sure you maintain control of the duel.
TRAP JAMMER- negate the effect of opponents trap card and destroys it
MAGIC Discard one card and destroy one spell card on the field
RAIGEKI BREAK- discard one card to destroy any card on the field
DRAINING SHIELD- negate the attack and increase your life points by the attacking monsters ATK
DUST TORNADO- destroy one magic or trap and you can then set your own
P.S.- You don't need to make the deck as small as can be, mine is around 75 cards and i always win. Haven't lost with that deck once. also Fissure is a limited card so you can only have 1 in your deck.
