went to a local jewellers to sell my 644.4ct, light smoky quartz gemstone. The jeweller said he buys smoky quartz for $3 per ct. Mine is vs cut into a cushion-checkboard and untreated. He said it's way to big to set and he doesn't have the skills to cut it, so he offered me $100. He said he would use it as a huge display piece. He also said he hasn't seen one nearly this big before
