I'm building a water purification system and I need a automotive style thermostat that seals when closed completely. Every thermostat that I have bought has water that drips through. Any ideas? They are all metal on metal valves. Is there such a thing as a thermostat valve with a o-ring, gasket, or rubber washer?
I can seal a hole. Do you know which one has a o-ring?
I'm not absolutely sure but I think all automotive thermostats let a small amount of water through when closed.Good luck with your project.
